Since 2013 we have been building support and opportunities for women in film and we have no plans to stop. Our community focused approach is key for us as we value feedback and opportunities to develop our support.
In 2019 we launched Women X Film Festival, which was accrediated by BIFA in 2023! Submissions are currently open for our 5th edition!
We work with filmmakers who want to tell authentic stories with an exciting creative vision
We’ve produced over ten films, two web series and hundreds of podcast episodes, along with serving as development producers and script editors on countless short films and screenplays.
We’re passionate about developing and nurturing talent, especially those from working class background who face barriers on entering the industry. We offer script feedback through our script competition.

We are 100% volunteer run
With key bases in London, Manchester, Cardiff and Darlington. We have a large team based across the UK, U.S Canada and Ireland, all with a variety of experience within the film, TV, arts and music industry.
We develop our volunteers with mentoring, growth plans and training, allowing them to gain the tools, experience and most importantly support to develop their career paths. We have a volunteer waiting list which you can join by dropping us an email!
