Meet The Cast: Sienna Pugh
Sienna Pugh may be the youngest member of our Coming out for Christmas cast but she has a big future ahead of her. Here she talks to us about being in the film and how she thinks girls should be represented better in the industry.
HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE ON SET OF COMING OUT FOR CHRISTMAS?
SIENNA: It was good fun and we were well looked after.

SIENNA: Funny, Family, Educational
WHAT WAS IT THAT DREW YOU TO YOUR CHARACTER IN COMING OUT FOR CHRISTMAS?
SIENNA: I enjoyed dancing around singing!
DO YOU THINK THERE ARE A GOOD AMOUNT OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR WORKING IN FILM/THEATRE/TV IN THE NORTH EAST?
SIENNA: Not enough.
WHAT OBSTACLES ARE THERE WORKING IN FILM/THEATRE/TV IN THE NORTH EAST?
SIENNA: There are not enough auditions.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE LGBTQ+ FILM AND WHY?
SIENNA: Not sure I've watched one yet!
WHAT IDENTITIES DO YOU WANT TO SEE REPRESENTED IN A MORE POSITIVE WAY ON SCREEN?
SIENNA: I think girls get portrayed badly sometimes, for instance when people say run like a girl etc.
IS THERE A FILM/FILMMAKER/ACTOR THAT INSPIRED YOU TO GET INTO ACTING?
SIENNA: Emma Watson!
IF YOU COULD WORK WITH ANY FILMMAKER OR ACTOR (LIVING OR DEAD) WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
SIENNA: David Bowie, he was amazing in Labyrinth.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST ANTICIPATED FILM THIS YEAR?
SIENNA: Other than Coming Out For Christmas, Toy Story 4!
WHAT’S THE BEST FILM OR TV SHOW YOU HAVE SEEN RECENTLY AND WHY?
SIENNA: Star vs. the Forces of Evil, on Disney.
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON?
SIENNA: I'm currently working on a stage production of Hercules.
